We’re Erin and Alex. Since 2020 we’ve been buying the tired houses nobody else wants, doing them up properly, and turning them into homes people love living in. This is our story and the homes we’ve made so far.

Who we are
Co-founder
Erin grew up in Hertfordshire watching her dad buy run-down houses and bring them back, and picked up everything he knew. She moved from events into a residential property agency, and now works in commercial real estate, where valuations and investments are the day job. She sits on a local RICS committee, alongside planners, agents and surveyors.

Alex grew up in Hertfordshire and studied 3D animation and CGI at Bournemouth. At 25 he quit his job for a one-way flight to Australia, then started his creative studio, XO3D, from his bedroom alongside a job at a residential estate agency. Sales, finances, project management: it turns out that’s the perfect training for a house build.
Our story
We met in New Zealand and spent years travelling the world. It was brilliant, and it wasn’t sustainable. We wanted roots and a place to build a family from, so property became two things at once: a pension to come home to, and the foundation for everything else.

Gas safety checked every year and electrics tested on schedule, every home. We keep the certificates.
Local trades we know by name, not whoever is cheapest that week.
Where a letting agent manages a home, we choose them carefully and stay close to it ourselves.
